e-TRANZACT PLC: NEW DIRECTORS.
e-TRANZACT PLC has appointed two new non-executive directors to its board. They are Messrs Adeyinka Olatokunbo Asekun and Afolabi Oyedeji Oladele.
Mr Asekun was appointed since April 28, while Mr Oladele joined on July 21, 2016.
Mr Asekun holds Bsc in Business administration from University of Wisconsin and an MBA from California state university.
He brings on board years of experience as a top Nigerian retail banker with stints at International Merchant bank, UBA, and Oceanic bank. He was also CEO of Hebron Ltd, a consulting firm.
He is currently the chairman of the board of directors of Wema bank PLC.
Mr Oladele, on the other hand, holds Bsc Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, and is a fellow of the Nigerian society of chemical engineers.
He is certified in petroleum economics by French Petroleum Institute and in applied international management by Sigtuna-Sweden.
His working experience was gathered from decades in the NNPC group and as co-founder of Frezone Fabrication International ltd.
He is currently the chairman of Subsurface Resources Management and Partner (oil & gas investment) at Africa Capital Alliance Nigeria.
CORNERSTONE INSURANCE: OKOLI JOINS BOARD.
At a pre AGM meeting held on July 22, the board of directors of Cornerstone Insurance PLC appointed Mr Ekwunife Okoli as non-executive director.
Mr Okoli brings to bear over 30 years experience in international business management particularly as CEO of Guinness Ghana; Guinness Cameroon and African Regional market for Guinness at one time or the other before retirement.
He holds Bsc from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an MBA from the University of Benin.
FORTE OIL PLC: MRS EKPEYONG RETIRES.
Dr Mrs Grace Ekpeyong has retired from the board of directors of Forte Oil plc .
Until her retirement, she was non executive director of the company from 1999 when she was appointed.
UNITY KAPITAL: INTERIM DIVIDEND.
Unity Kapital insurance has decided to pay interim dividend to shareholders as follows:
Dividend. 0.15k per share
Qualification date 12/8/2016
Register closure: 15-19/8/2016
Payment date: 22/8/2016.
