NEW COMPANY SECRETARY FOR FLOUR MILLS.

The board of directors of Flour Mills of Nigeria has announced the appointment of a new company secretary in the person of Mr Joseph Odion Umolu.
Mr Umolu takes over from Alhaji Olalekan Saliu who retires by December 31 although will continue on the board as non-executive director. The new company secretary is currently head, legal services and assistant company secretary.
He joined Flour Mills in 2012 rising to his present position after a rather mobile but active career.
He holds an LLM from the University of Lagos and has had a career that spanned from his stint at Gocuz Group as administration/ corporate affairs manager to Zik Chuka Obi & Co; and the Lagos state judiciary.
Between 2003 and 2004, he was with Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority before joining Union Bank in 2004 rising to be legal office manager by 2007.

CHAMPION BREWERIES GETS TWO NEW DIRECTORS.

Two new directors have been appointed to the board of Champion Breweries in place of one that retired December 3, 2015.
The new directors are Mr Samson Aigbedo and Mrs Helen A Umanah while Mr Didier Francis Martial has retired.
Mr Aigbedo holds a degree in biochemistry from University of Ilorin and started his career in Nigerian Breweries, Ibadan as brewer in charge of bottling.
He eventually spent over 20 years in the company occupying various positions including head of brewery operations at the head office.
Mrs Umanah has a diploma in English & Secretarial studies.
She started her career as a secretary in British Petroleum from 1971 to 1975 then served as Personal Assistant to head of service of United Kingdom up to 1980.
From there she became confidential secretary to Deputy High Commissioner in Nigerian High Commission from 1980 to 1984 then executive secretary to project manager Harbour Works Nigeria limited; personal assistant to the Chairman of Niger Holdings ltd and executive secretary to the chairman/CEO of defunct ABC merchant bank.
She is the MD/CEO of A-hani Ventures ltd and a member of audit committee of Champion Breweries since 2011.

NEW DIRECTOR FOR DIAMOND BANK

A new non-executive director has been approved for Diamond Bank PLC by the Central Bank of  Nigeria.
He is Mr Damian Dolland who joined the board from October 24 subject to subsequent rectification at the next annual general meeting.
He brings to bear his years of experience as managing partner in Fidelis Advisory partners Johannesburg, South Africa; as managing director, head of investment banking subsaharan Africa J P Morgan 2010 to 2012.
He is the founder and director of Darisami International Consultancy, Port Louis, Mauritius with focus on mergers and acquisition in Africa & the Caribbean.
He holds Bsc Hons Biomedical & Electrical Engineering with distinction Cum Laude and a minor in chemistry from Duke University. Durham.

NEW CEO AT NEIMETH INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICALS.

From February 28, next year Mr Emmanuel Princewill Ekunno will retire as the managing director / CEO of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals PLC.
He is to be replaced by Dr Mrs Ebere Igboko Ekpunobi who has since November 3 assumed duties as acting managing director / CEO.
