CORPORATE NEWS: New directors for Forte Oil, Total Nigeria, Dangote Sugar.
FORTE OIL: Mr ANIL DUA , Director.
Mr Anil Dual has been appointed a non executive director of Forte Oil PLC with effect from October 30, 2015.
He replaces Mrs Korede Omojola whose resignation from the board of directors was accepted on the same date.
Mr Dua holds BA honours in economics from St Stephens College Delhi University , India and a masters also in economics from Delhi School of Economics.
His working career started in 1974 and spanned broad based experience in India, United Kingdom, USA and Botswana.
He also was director of standard chartered bank in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote d'voire ; Seychelles International mercantile corporation and Afriexim bank.
According to a release from Forte Oil, Mr Dua resigned from all these board positions except Afriexim on September 30, this year.
TOTAL NIGERIA GETS NEW DIRECTOR.
Total Nigeria has announced the appointment of Ms Christie Hein as a director of the company.
Ms Hein brings to bear more than 12 years working experience with Total on the international level during which she was at different times head of control and risk at Total Deutschland, Berlin; financial controller Total Raffinage marketing, Paris and head governance and financial control in supply marketing division at Total Head office.
In 2012 she was vice president, corporate marketing and services of Total Asia Pacific ltd, Singapore before her appointment as vice president, project finance, refining and chemicals and services in 2015.
Ms Hein is a business administration graduate from Erlangen Nurnberberg/Trinity college, Dublin.
NEW ACTING GMD FOR DANGOTE SUGAR.
In a brief release the Board of directors of Dangote Sugar PLC has announced the appointment of Engr Abdullahi Sule as acting Group Managing Director (GMD) from October 23, 2015.
